Shipping & Order Process
Order Process Timeline
The timeline below applies to drop-ship orders only and does not apply to orders for which Nationwide Office Furniture has quoted full delivery and installation services. Quoted delivery and installation projects follow a separate project schedule communicated at the time of quote.
Shipping times vary by manufacturer and product. The following outlines the standard process from the moment your order is placed until it arrives at your location.
1. Order Verification. Upon receipt of your order, we verify stock availability and lead time directly with the manufacturer.
2. In-Stock Orders. Orders for in-stock items are processed immediately and typically depart the manufacturer's warehouse within 24–72 business hours.
3. Back-Ordered Items. If any item on your order is back-ordered, your order will be placed on hold while we conduct a search for viable replacements or confirm a revised lead time. Once replacements are located or the revised timeline is approved, the order resumes processing and departure from the manufacturer's warehouse.
4. Tracking Information. Once your order has shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you so you may monitor your shipment's progress.
5. Freight Scheduling. When a freight shipment nears your destination, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure that a representative is available at the scheduled time to receive the shipment.
Carriers. Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, USPS, or LTL freight carrier, depending on the size, weight, and destination of the shipment.
Full Delivery and Installation. Nationwide Office Furniture offers full delivery and installation services throughout the contiguous United States. These services are available upon request and will be quoted on a per-project basis.
Freight Receiving. Prior to receiving any freight shipment, please review our Freight Receiving Guide carefully to ensure proper inspection and documentation procedures are followed at the time of delivery.
